While starvation is prevalent in the Bundibugyo district, it has been worsened by the recent COVID-19 restrictions, resulting in a closure of the Ugandan borders. The closure of the borders has interrupted a food source that comes from the Congo. We have been able to sustain over 4,500 people through our Coalition efforts.
